Information reaching News.KingBygone.com suggests that popular veteran Nollywood actress, Cynthia Okereke has passed on in her sleep. The news was shared by her colleague, Joseph Okechukwu.

According to the filmmaker, he was about to pay for Cynthia Okereke’s flight ticket to come to America but sadly, she d’ed in her sleep on tuesday at age 63.
Before her demise, the Enugu-born actress acted in more than 200 Nollywood movies some of which include; King Jaja of Opobo, Osuofia in London, Second Chance, Coronation, Otollo, Sound of Love, Second Burial, Lion Finger, Hidden Tears, Mega Mama, Mr. Ibu’s Wedding Day, etc.
She often played the role of a good mother, grandmother, royal queen, and mother-in-law in Nollywood movies. Last year, Okereke was kidnapped in Enugu alongside fellow actor Clemson Cornel, but they were later released unhurt by their abductors days after they were declared missing.
