A 31-year-old Ghanaian woman, Johanita Kossiwa Dogbey has been buried in the U.K after being tragically stabbed to death.
Johanita’s funeral was held Monday, July 10th 2023.
The Ghanaian philanthropist died in May when she was stabbed whilst walking home from an errand.
She’s believed to have gone out to purchase a birthday present and was on her way back home when an assailant attacked her in Stockwell Park Walk in Brixton.
Her assailant attacked her with a weapon and by the time authorities got to the scene, she was dead.
Police later arrested 33-year-old Mohamer Nur for the murder. He’s been charged and arraigned before court.
Prior to her death, Johanita Kossiwa Dogbey worked as founder of the Odette Foundation, a charity that worked with people suffering from sickle cell disease in Ghana and Togo.
